| Latrobe Area's residents are good neighbors, and the communities near us are good neighbors, too. To the east, Ligonier is a French and Indian War-era town of great charm and historical interest, with its significant frontier fort. Greensburg, the vibrant Westmoreland County seat, lies eight miles to the west. Mt. Pleasant, to the south, is an attractive farming and coal-era community.
All of these towns have distinctive downtown shopping and business areas, and each, with its unique personality, adds to the appeal of living and working in this area. |
